Heavy Equipment Operator and Laborer

Full-time heavy equipment operator / laborer

Diamond Mulch, Inc. is seeking a heavy equipment operator.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate, in a safe, compliant manner, dozers, graders, excavators, front end loaders, and other equipment as required.
- Spread and compact residential, commercial, and construction and demolition
- Perform facility maintenance including grass cutting, weed eating, pulling weeds, spraying weeds, etc. in the summer. - Perform facility maintenance including snow plowing, distributing ice melt, snow shoveling, etc. in the winter. - Perform complete lubrication and oil changes on equipment after brief instruction. - Other duties such as truck and vehicle pressure washing, picking up litter, moving and lifting various items, painting, simple repairs, driving or operating company vehicles, cart delivery, and various other jobs. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: - Must be a dependable, self-motivated individual. - A valid driver's license is required. - Employees must provide their own safety-approved work boots. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: - This job is performed outdoors. Employees are subject to weather elements daily; i.e. heat, sun, rain, snow, wind, etc. - Ability to sit/stand, walk, climb, bend/twist, push/pull, stoop, kneel, crouch/squat required. - Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. required.
